Getting started is easy. Simply head to our Aberdeen or Edinburgh city pages and fill out our short enquiry form. Tell us a bit about your current level, goals, and whether you need an instrument. We’ll match your enquiry with a suitable tutor who has availability, and they will reach out to arrange your first lesson.

Lessons currently start from £20 per half hour. Because our tutors are self-employed professionals, they set their own individual rates (typically between £40 and £55 per hour). You will always see a tutor's exact rate clearly displayed on their profile before you commit.

We operate a simple, flexible, pay-as-you-go system with no mandatory block bookings or term fees. All payments are handled securely online and processed automatically after each lesson takes place.

It depends on your location and your tutor:
- In Aberdeen: Lessons are available at our dedicated teaching venue at 23 Queen's Road (c/o Albyn School), at select tutor studios, or in the comfort of your own home across the city (subject to tutor availability).
- In Edinburgh: Lessons take place at our tutors' teaching studios or as home visits across the capital.

Yes! We believe everyone should have the chance to play, so we offer highly affordable instrument hire starting from just £7 per month. It's the perfect way to try an instrument without the upfront commitment.

Yes. While exams aren't mandatory, they can be a fantastic way to motivate practice and measure progress. We typically use ABRSM exams, and we are incredibly proud of our students' track record—enjoying a 100% pass rate, with 75% achieving Merit or Distinction results.
