We want to make fitting lessons into your week as easy as possible. In Edinburgh, lessons take place:
- At our tutors' own teaching studios.
- In the comfort of your own home across the city—whether you're in Bruntsfield, Morningside, New Town, or beyond, subject to tutor availability.
Pricing & Instrument Hire
Lessons Costs
Starting from £22.50 per half hour, our tutors are self-employed professionals who set their own rates.
You will always see a tutor’s specific rate on their profile before committing.
Pay as you go
All payments are handled securely online. You are billed automatically after each lesson, with no block booking or term fees.
Instrument Hire
Don't have an instrument yet? We offer affordable instrument hire in Edinburgh from just £7 per month, subject to availability.

Every tutor working with the Wee Music School is highly qualified, experienced, and actively involved in the local music scene. For your peace of mind, all our tutors are PVG-checked through the school.
Community & local ensembles
We believe that playing with others is one of the most rewarding parts of learning an instrument. We actively help our students join Edinburgh's vibrant community of youth orchestras, wind bands, and ensembles. Speak to your tutor about the best local groups to suit your instrument and stage.
